Join Wayne UNC Health Care as we celebrate our 125th anniversary with a community FUN RUN and 5K Run, promoting a healthy Wayne County!
DATE: Anytime between Oct 17 - 24, 2021. It is virtual so you can run on your own time!
DISTANCE: 5K Run or a 1.25 Mile Fun Run
COURSE: Choose from predetermined tracks in the Race Joy app, or just run on your own.
PRIZES: Medals will be provided for the top overall finishers for the 5K. Gift cards available for those who place in their age group for the 5K.
ENTRY FEE: The fee is $5.00 for the Fun Run and the 5K. Wayne UNC Health Teammates and children under 12 run for free.
TSHIRTS: Race T-shirts are available for both the Fun Run and 5K. When registering, please select "premium" to include the cost of the t-shirt.
RACEJOY: RaceJoy is a GPS-based tracking app that follows your progress in real-time as you run your race. Runners will download the app and can track their time and progress for the virtual run.
